Take a piece of garlic and puncture it to get the juice out. Pour the juice in the ear that hurts and it will ease the ache. Garlic has a natural antibiotic in it and will help ease the discomfort.
Put a few drops of olive oil or mineral oil in the sore ear and the oil will help ease the pain. Warm the oil up like you would a baby’s bottle, under the hot tap water for a few minutes. Use whatever kind of oil you have readily available, olive oil or mineral oil, as either will help ease the pain. Make sure you test the warm oil before using it in your ear. The warm oil should be at body temperature. Apply it with an ear dropper and only use enough oil to coat the inner lining of the ear.
Take a hot water bottle and wrap it in a towel. Use the towel wrapped hot water bottle as a pillow by laying the sore ear on it. Again, the heat from the hot water bottle will ease the pain from the sore ear. The towel is used to make it into a pillow and to keep from burning your ear.
Take a microwave safe plate and heat it up. Wrap it in a towel and lay the sore ear on it like a pillow. Make sure it is not too hot, body temperature warm is safe enough to use. This works like the hot water bottle.
Chew a piece of gum until your ear pops. This will only help if your earache is caused by change of altitude. Yawning can help pop your ear and get rid of the earache.

If your earache is caused by “swimmers ear” put a couple of drops of mineral oil in the ear before getting into the water. The oil will prevent too much water from getting in your ear and prevent an earache.
When suffering from an earache you are better off sitting up instead of laying down, so prop yourself up until the earache is gone.
Drinking lots of water or juice will help soothe the symptoms and the constant swallowing will help clear the Eustachian tubes.
Garlic
Crush or mince one garlic clove. Mix this with 2 tbsp. of olive oil and warm the mixture until it is comfortable to the touch. Use an eye dropper to put two to tree drops of the infused oil into the aching ear. Repeat as needed.
Hot water bottle

Aptly warm heat to the aching ear by pressing a warmed hot water bottle or warmed bag of rice to the ear. Alternatively, point a hair dryer on a low setting on the affected ear, moving it from side to side.
Vinegar and water

Finely chop a quartered section of onion. Place the chopped onion in a garlic press to extract the juice. Put two to three drops into the aching ear. Repeat as needed.
A clogged Eustachian tube may cause an earache. Yawn or swallow hard to unblock this Eustachian tube, which connects the middle ear to the throat.
